Any recommendations for where I can pick up singles in the West Hollywood area? Preferably from Enegren/El Segundo /Highland Park? Or is that not a thing here?
Points for the title (and vaguely worded post). Here I always thought beer dating meant looking for packaging dates.
I thought West Hollywood is known for its lgbtq community? I’m sure you’re able to get singles there. A 4 pk would be better, no?
Try Trader Joe's on Santa Monica Blvd (or Crescent Heights just below Sunset). They usually have packs of some Enegren and El Segundo stuff and you can buy singles for an equivalent proportion of the full pack cost. Not sure if they'll have any Highland Park though, might still be some of the Madewest short-lived collab on the shelves (or the Love LA beer).
You might be better off making the drive to Koreatown to grab some cans from Southland Beer or even Glendale for Glendale Tap.
I'm not the young stallion I once was. A whole four pack is more than i can handle while indulging my promiscuity.
Packaging dates can be really hard to read sometimes - misinterpretations, coded language, etc. The passive aggressive "best by" dates are the worst.
