Still sending new LC invites out as of this afternoon.

Also, apparently they don't kindly to our hot takes on tater juice 'round these parts.

Lmao grown ups getting upset and deleting comments because “they aren’t beer related”

Can confirm. I got an invite today and haven’t bought a SP beer in almost 3 years.

And yet there are several threads on this very site dedicated to non beer conversation. Its pretty comical how they decide to pick and choose which threads have to be 100% beer and beer only. I guarantee you can pick any thread on this site and scroll through the comments and find plenty of posts that aren't beer related and yet here on the SP thread its a problem. I get that we can't trade bourbon anymore and that's fine but to delete comments just talking about bourbon is on that North Korea censorship type shit. Between this and the way trading has died on this site, there's less and less reason to spend any amount of time on BA

I’ve never understood why they’re so against bourbon on this site. The reason 90%+ of us are here are for barrel aged beers, so it literally goes hand and hand. And the day they disallowed bourbon trading here was the day trading largely died. The volumes just totally dried up after that.

Does anyone else feel SP nitro cans are a complete failure? Out of probably 10 cans I've opened probably 2 have poured, as they should have. I brought it up when they did their first run of cans (base weight?) 1 of the 4 cans poured right. They made it more than right and hooked it up with a bunch of replacements. I haven't bothered bringing it up to them since

Pour it through a strainer like I did...That helps with the black goo too.

I can fish out the goo. I just want a nice nitro pour. I shake gently and pour aggressively. Just comes out black with zero sign of nitrogen.

I honestly think they don’t taste great. I miss regular coffee shop vibes in bottles. I refuse to buy anymore nitro cans as there is something about the taste that I just don’t like.

Can’t wait to see how these jugs and barrels have developed these monster beers. Going to drink so smooth from the vodka and gin.

Why didn’t anyone else ever think to finish a 14 year aged beer in Jepson Malort? Missed opportunity!

Two new included beers on the calendar - Coeur de Cuvee b13 and La Coterie 2025.1 (looks like a gold wax saison?)

Man that gold wax La Coterie bottle would have looked real nice if it was filled with BA stout or Barleywine.

I am a little surprised they sprung for gold wax (or even any wax) on a beer that seems pretty "normal" by SP standards but they both sound good and I'm happy with these as the first included beers of the year
