Knocked out taxes yesterday, and got in a little workout and grocery shopping today, which is a lovely day in the DC metro area. Having a Rêve as the oven warms up some bacon. I also made up a cocktail using a little bit of the coffee beer, because I thought I could come up with something tasty, and I didn't do too bad.

Good Afternoon Advocates!

Getting a head start...um Heady start... in this icy wasteland.

Actually the ice-laden trees are always pretty.

While I was pouring this beer one of our local American bald eagles flew low over my head carrying a large branch. Looks like we'll have them down at our beach for a 6th or 7th consecutive year. Their nest is on the point of our cove and has produced 3 sets of offspring to the best of our community's guess. Fun watching them learning to fly and all the fish-catching by the adults prior to keep the nest fed.

Wish I had my phone in hand for this close encounter. It never gets old.

Anyhow, speaking of old... this Heady is from last December. Forgot I had an old one in the fridge before cracking new stock yesterday. It always holds up great.

Happy day BAs! Fun last night on the lil' zoom chat. Living proof that no matter where we are or where we are from, we can have a really constructive, dynamic, useful, and an all together fun time as a crew. The Brew Crew. It's a beautiful thing. Lovely folks.
A light rain/snow mix outside has me inside my big ol' tree fudge stripin' cookies and makes me crave a brew. This hot dog got a few laffs from last night's session. Cheers!!
