Quabbin Reservoir is one of the largest unfiltered water supplies in the United States. Along with the Wachusett Reservoir and Ware River, it is the source of high quality water for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority water supply system. The 412 billion gallon reservoir covers 39 square miles with 181 miles of shoreline. Recreational activities are regulated and limited to protect 3 million people’s drinking water.

Well BA's it our first 90 degree day of 2025, feels like 94 degrees. Lawn mowed and weed wacking completed. Time for a Fat Head's Jungle Juice IPA.

I’ve been making very solid progress with my beer fridge lately. Now down to 76 bottles/cans with only 17 of those dating back to 2020 or older. Cheers!

 

Lagunitas Willetized (12.7%): BBA Coffee Stout from California with flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, espresso roast. Clean, lightly bitter, and rounded.

I look for this every year but couldn't find it in a single until now. Lagunitas BBA Coffee stout. Chocolate, bourbon, and coffee balance perfectly here for a lightly bitter and roasted stout that hides the bourbon and sweetness. Incredibly clean, rounded, and drinkable. Maybe the best value for a World-Class BBA Stout on the market. It is just as good as I remember in 2025 and one of my favorite stouts.
