Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Brewer’s Reserve Single Barrel Stout from Central Waters Brewing. Received from @bbtkd 27/03/25 in a LIF associated with BS BIF #2. 12 fl oz can. Reviewed 04/04/25 (Review 3492). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 Although the bitterness may come from the roasted malt, there’s not a particular malt flavor present. The present flavors meld, as the temperature rises, into a cohesive whole which accentuates the chocolate maltiness of the base brew, and the unimportance of bourbon barrel aging to what begins as a good imperial stout.

Good afternoon BAs! Spent most of the day so far boxing clothes, etc. to take to Goodwill. Never too late for a coffee break - Revolution’s “Cafe Deth”:



Canned 10/4/24. Poured at 56.5°. 14%abv of coffee, bourbon/chocolate deliciousness. Another beer I always buy when it shows up on Tavour.

Sunny hot and humid here in SW FL. My outdoor reading is 90°. My indoor reading is 81° with the doors and windows open.

I’m going to work in the condo as long as there’s cold beer (who am I kidding? There’s over 50 stouts in the 2 chillers alone ;-) ), and a cool breeze today. Cheers and have a fantastic Friday y’all!

Hey folks. You know I'm having a good week when I wake up and forgot what day it is.
Had a wacky series of texts last night re music gig /2 bands. Sorta like the old Whack-a-Mole game. Totally nuts. Thank heavens for beer!
Anyway...coffee was boring, too muddy for yard play, and it's the crack 'o noon. So, looking at the beer menu... A nice early beer: Wild East Sweet Patience Czech Pils 3%
