    Staying up through the overnight hours with the great eclectic jazz overnight show hosted each week. Finally had the courage to crack the first of two Deep Woods stovepipes, intimidating for the size and strong ABV. Hope to live to drink another one on Sunday.

    Hello, BA, and thanks to @ChicagoJ for kicking things off. Hopefully he's still with us!

    The local footy season was launched today, and here I am, exhausted and barely bothering to move, but finding the energy to crack open a fresh tin. This one is TPA Tropical Pale Ale by Six Strings Brewing Co., located just north of Sydney on the great southern continent. It's a tasty but subtle stonefruit-laced beer, and one that makes me want a second. But I think a whisky sour is calling my name, and I'd be rude not to answer.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    Biggie Jumbo from Fair State Co-op. Received from @bbtkd 27/03/25 in a LIF associated with BS BIF #2. 12 fl oz can. Reviewed 05/04/25 (Review 3493). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.

    Final impression and summation: 4.25 A straight-up, no frills, no add-junk imperial stout. It’s great to have one again!

    Yet another Chimay Cinq Cents but in a new glass. I looked for BA glasses and didn't find any. I bought 2 of them and I must say, they are pretty light weight. :slight_frown:

    I broke 2 Spiegelau Ale glasses just hand washing them. Incredibly thin glass. I'll never buy them again.
