Great beer. Every time I visit the brewery or tap house, I poke them to barrel age that beer. The standard Siberian Night is so good barrel aged. Cheers v

Good afternoon BAs! Rode the bikes to downtown/yacht club to see the classic car show. Small show, but impressive cars. Now hydrating at Cycle Brewing, drinking an R & R Pale Ale Nectaron:

Still on the bicycles…now at Webb City Cellars (Green Bench) enjoying the cool indoors and drinking a Sunshine City IPA:

I remember when some of us on this site would discuss which IPA was the best Florida IPA, Sunshine City or Jai Alai. Anyhoo with so many choices nowadays I rarely drink this tasty thirst quencher. Cheers y’all!

We're on our Sunday Funday Booze Cruise.
At the Columbia Kettle Works, with a sampler of Irish Red, Helles, Weizenbock, and Dark Passenger Belgian style something or another.
    Pretty decent brews.

    Cheers!
    I REALLY like their Weizenbock!

Full review linked above, full New Beer Sunday #1050 treatment linked here. Bottom line, fruit can be Marty's Achilles heel in the Deep Woods series, and this one has too much cherry sans the nuisance and depth apparent in most Deep Woods offerings.

This beer warrants punishment music, not of the drain pour slit my wrist Rolling Stones or AC/DC variety, but rather we will muddle through this song and beer and live to fight another day, but not look back fondly on the experience.

Happy Sunday ba. Lazy day here starting with some Mets hard ball and overall mlb action before heading to fun soccer.

into it w/ Volksgarten, viena lager, schilling. Crisp, clean, toasted malt, and my only complaint is that it goes down way to fast,

    1) Tucher Brau Festbier (5.8%): A German Festbier with flavors of smooth, earthy Munich malt, smooth honey. Balanced and smooth.
    versus
    2) Weihenstephaner Festbier (5.8%): A German Festbier with flavors of pale malt, smooth honey, cereal, pale Munich malts. Smooth. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Festbier Battle. Coming back to these that drink wonderfully in the Spring. First is Tucher Brau. Smooth, earthy honey, and slightly sweet. Excellent.
Next is Weihenstephaner. Very similar, but slightly more floral and toasted notes. A bit cleaner as well. This is among the best I've had.
    Winner: Weihenstephaner
