    Amen my friend. Just the beer I needed. I am feeling bad today. Brother-in-law (wife’s brother) passed away today. Almost a year to the day that my wife (his sister) passed away.

    Drinking mostly tonight just to anesthetize myself. His passing brings back sad emotions from my wife’s passing.

    look: 3.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    Clear, golden amber body; lively carbonation; relatively thin initially head, frothy and soapy in appearance; fades to a thin, patchy surface covering. Great smell; floral with a touch of herbal notes. Light malt and rice base flavor with a strong phenolic bitterness; herbal grassiness. Medium-bodied; mostly dry feel overall.

    The appearance is pretty disappointing, but the other factors do come through. The beer smooths out after setting for a while, the flavors melding together into a smoother, rounder taste and feel.
