    Well, it was touch and go at the border, but they finally let me through. A New Glarus Tailwagger at Puempel's in lovely New Glarus, Wisconsin. (On draft, bottle just for picture.) And a loaded brat and fresh cheese curds. Cheers!

    Good afternoon BAs! My buddy’s procedure went without a hitch, and he’s back home resting. I’m at the condo having some “Family Reunion” a BBA Imperial Stout collaboration by Cigar City and Magnanimous:

    Bottled Nov. 2023? Poured at 57° Chocolate nose. Taste follows suit with a little bourbon and oak in background. A bit on the sweet side, but tasty nonetheless.

    I’m going to relax this coolish rainy day. A nice breeze is blowing through the condo, I’ll probably drink a beer or two. Cheers and have a terrific Tuesday y’all!

    Back at my sister-in-law's house after a 36- hour trip to Edinburgh. Drinking a rad 6.9% ABV stout from Five Kingdoms, which is located in SW Scotland.

    Trying something new. Berne Triple, abbey style beer.

    9 out of 10 times new is not good.
    But the 1 out of 10 makes it worth trying.
    This is close to maybe 1,5 out of 10, not bad. Tasting it, they have a malt-problem.
    Probably buying prefab fermented malt in from Royal Swinkels. Very bad base for making a good beer.
