Wonder when Library Tasting tickets are going on sale?

 

If any of you beer nerds want to come hang out at out at the brewery and cellar tomorrow, my cousin-in-law (also in LC) is coming down from Chicago pick up his haul and do some day drinking. Likely going to get some bottles to split if anyone wants to join.

 

Anyone try with Knox yet? I passed since it seemed too pastry for my taste and since I’m still recovering from all those derivation purchases but I’m curious how others are liking it

 

How is Sere Bloom?

 

Reviews so far look promising, sounds like it resembles medianoche reserve

Derivation Medianoche ?? Thats what ive seen people say, that its very similar to DM.

 

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Definitely adjunct forward but the barrel is quite present as well.

its my ideal pastry stout: not a liquid candy bar, but more of a barrel aged stout that was heavily adjuncted….if that makes sense
