Summit released a lager a couple weeks ago in a second attempt to capture that sector. I loved Dakota Soul when it was their lager a few years ago; was not happy when it disappeared. I am wondering if demand outstripped supply, since they were procuring the Moravian barley solely from the founder's cousin in ND. Have read though it was a competitor to their Pils, but who knows....the Twins Pils (former Keller Pils) is good, but not as good as this....

Anyway, I picked up a 12 pack; got home and discovered they are 16oz cans! Very good price point for the 12 pack (I think it was 15.99?). The Saaz hops in this are evident, with that drier finish evident at the end. Cereal notes right off the top, lasting through the taste, leaving me wanting more. Very good head, carbonation is long lasting in the glass. It is one of the rare beers that taste the same straight from a can vs poured into a glass (to me, anyway).
