What beer are you drinking now? #4560

My son and I are trying Alchemist's Luscious, their Russian Imperial Stout. Thank goodness someone still makes them like this!

 

Starting the night like most other nights. Master Shredder. An IPA brewed by Veil.

 

Still in Texas, this is Deep Ellum IPA, a classic WCIPA that I still really enjoy, especially when it’s fresh on tap, which this most definitely is.

 

Back home with a SN Electric Torpedo from the mix pack. This isn't awful but I wouldn't buy a 6 of it.

 

DS is a little more complex, but if I had to choose one as a daily drinker, I'd go SoS. @Roguer

Strange Bird Nice Shades

I took the girls to Rochester 911 center for our puppy to have a therapy dog session for the operators. Across the street is the legendary Nick Tahoe’s , long shuttered but never forgotten. Btw Strange Bird is a mile away….

Thanks! I marinated some shredded lettuce, thin sliced onions and thin sliced tomatoes in a bit of olive oil and red wine vinegar - about 10 minutes only. For meats I used hot capicola, thin sliced off-the-bone ham, sandwich pepperoni, Genoa salami, and provolone cheese.

Assemble it all and enjoy

Went to the local seniors center for a Happy Hour. No beer, but it was ok. Home now with a dinner prep IPA - Other Half’s “Big Riwaka Vibes”:



Big skunky nose! Citrus lime tropical fruit pineapple. Love this hop! Cheers y’all!

 

Orange Starfish. An IPA brewed by Aslin. I think this was once a 16 oz can but my memory is not my strong point.

 

Bullfrog Alabaster Coffee (Oatmeal) Stout, 6% ABV. Pours black with a one-finger light-brown head that left no lacing. Aroma is coffee and roast malt. Incredible roast coffee flavor, no sweetness, slightly bitter. Thick and smooth, owing to the oats. Overall outstanding.

Thanks to @Ozzylizard for sending this outstanding Coffee/Oatmeal stout in a LIF box as part of the Stout/Barleywine BIF. Wow, the equivalent of one cup of coffee in each pint!
