    Couldn't finish the last beer - it became WAY too sweet. Moving on to Converging Fractals from Temporal in Canada. A blend of Belgian-style quads aged in VSOP brandy and vanilla brandy barrels for 24 months. 12.88% ABV. Amazing beer! Cheers all.

    2020 BCB Kentucky Fog Stout, probably the last of the vintage BCBS bottles I'll buy due to financial reasons. It was a good run, but with some serious expenses hitting, I can't drop $30+ on a single bottle even if it is once in a while. Review to follow.

    Your previous brew...I find Hershey's chocolate syrup to be dirty tasting if its ratio is high, even in milk. And the stronger the sweeter. Just an observation. As a kid I remember that choco syrup being sold in a steel can. It had a metallic taste...

    Yearly physical was this morning. Last year I told him I wouldnt go on cholesterol medicine. Lost 40lbs and numbers came back at 166 (about 100 points lower than last year). ALT came back high (no idea what it is) and he said it's related to drinking. Told him that's not going to happen this year lol.

    Interesting! Maybe the sweetness came from something else, but I just assumed it was from the syrup.

    [​IMG] Picked up another sixer of this one yesterday and will keep on picking it up where I find it. I heard on the radio today that Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass are playing in Grand Rapids in a couple of weeks. So, I looked it up. Herb is 90 yo. Cheers to that, LNBA!
