I'd like to suggest adding an additional category for classifying Places that do not fit into the existing areas (or complement the existing options). I'm thinking specifically of museums (brewing-related museums) and brewing programs, such as those at area community colleges. While the brewing-related museum or educational program category might be limited, a broader catch-all with museums, art galleries, even arenas, could help with search options.

For example, last year I suggested adding the Cone Top Brewing Museum,
https://vicksburgmill.com/brewery-museum/. Presently, this is referenced in my notes and review for South County Homebrew Supply. Once Larry Bell's planned breweriana and memorabilia museum opens up in downtown Kalamazoo the greater area will have two brewing-specific museums. Add to that KVCC's Sustainable Brewing program and I think there's a need for another category.

Right now we have the following:

Brews beer? (Brewery, brewpub, contract brewer)

Has a designated area for drinking? (Bar, pub)

Has a kitchen / serves food? (Eatery, restaurant, cafe)

Sells beer-to-go? (Liquor store, fills growlers, off-premise beer sales)

    Sells homebrew supplies / training?

Are beers contract brewed at / by another brewery?

Would an easy edit be to expand upon training to include accredited brewing programs and add an Other category?

Like stores that are primarily selling other stuff but also sell beer. In my town we have a bookstore, plant shop, outdoor store, and bike shops that sell beer, either to go or for onsite.

I'm in WNC. A lot of the outdoor-centric towns around here have beer on-tap in pretty much every shop, with a growing focus on "social districts" that encourage everyone to drink beer outside to drive tourism.

Also, I challenge you to find a café around here that doesn't serve beer.

I always thought adding a new label for stores and breweries that sell online would be a good idea especially if you can filter for this.

Good point-- but then I think we are here for places that have local or unusual imported beers, or are excellent places to have a beer, or sell a really good selection of different beers, or are the oasis in a beer desert. Like we don't list every WalMart or sports bar on the planet.
