Have a good "good Friday". I drove up to Columbus Ohio to me my in laws for dinner today. We listened to over half of capital volume one, economic theory is pretty cool. I hope to get an interview for brewery position after the holiday. I am studying for Certified Cicerone test. I emailed a resume and cover letter on Monday. I told my wife we are going to Seventh son brewing for lunch. Amazing beer there.

Got a 6 pack of pernicious on the way out of Greensboro.

Thanks @ChicagoJ I've always liked Cowboy Junkies and their tune Good Friday. Welp, I do believe you led off with a homerun on the first pitch my good man. Absolutely wonderful tune with Donald Byrd. 7/3/2019 canned stone w00tstout. Still plenty of Russian imperial stout bitterness with noticeable pecan and bourbon barrel presence for 1/4 aged. Incredible.

Good day BAs! Thanks @ChicagoJ for opening the bar - and yes, I agree, Fat Head's IPAs are generally delicious (yesterday's WBAYDN).

Looks like a rare dry morning here on the tundra, so I might get some more of last year's oak leaves burned. Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Alabaster Coffee Stout from Bullfrog Brewing. Purchased at Franklin Beer (Franklin, PA) 11/03/25. 16 fl oz can, $ 11.00 (Including tax)/ $ 0.917 fl oz. Reviewed 17/04/25 (Review 3506). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated can) Good coffee-oatmeal stout, flavorful and aromatic, smooth and creamy, although the lacing leaves something to be desired.

I was at RIT over in Henrietta, so the Lyle Ave location was our jam come ~2am-ish.

Only ever went twice to that original Nick's. I remember downtown as being very sketchy in those days!

My best downtown memory was seeing the Jerry Garcia Band at the Rochester War memorial... this show:
