I have the day off - finally got to cut down a large branch that broke off this winter and hung up in one of my maple trees. Glad that's finally out of the way. Also did a bit of raking but I'm done now and relaxing with this strawberry blonde ale. Burlington Beer Whale's Cake

Barrie Haus Family Tradition Vienna Lager 5.4%. Admittedly, do not like this one all that much. Has a tea-like quality I don't care for in a Vienna Lager.

Eight yards of blurry mulch that needed to be spread with my sons helping out.



Can of Hamms I found at the bottom of the pile. Boys did a great job, but I paid for the mulch, so I get the beer. Cheers!

 

Back at the ranch. Picked up some pf Benchtop Brewing Pilsners Are Lagers German style Pils 4.9%. Man does this beer have great head retention. And that was a good sign of things to come. This is a spot on representation of German style Pils. Hoppy but not too hoppy. Spicy/herbal. Moderate bitterness. Crisp dry finish. Nicely done by Benchtop!
