Arbeiter HAHA Pils (5.1%): A German Pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of pale malt, crisp floral notes. Bitter, bright, and clean.

Arbeiter Pils. I can crown this as the best pilsner now that it won the GABF for the German-style Pilsner in 2024. I had been excited about this beer for sometime before that, not to toot my own horn. No idea the canning date on this, it's old. Still drinking very nicely and showing all the qualities of a World-Class Pilsner. Excited to pick up a lot more of these fresh for this coming Spring/Summer for some great beer battles.

I like a little tea-like vibe to my Viennas - but it needs to be more a lean than a feature. If it takes the guise of toasted malt accented by some bitter, earthy hops, it has me. If it's overly tannic malt juice, I'm with you.

Such a reality check, given I am loving the arriving spring here, as mentioned in earlier posts; we want to move to near you when we retire; and seeing that picture

I'm all for a nice patio, myself. Regardless, I can't argue with someone else doing the dirty work, as it were.

That's perhaps an unfortunate turn of a phrase

    Good day, BAs!
This one is drinking just like its reviews. A couple months older perhaps which shows in the lingering kinda metallic aftertaste, but it's been refrigerated so I gave it a go. Refreshing enough, but don't plan to revisit

Now enjoying a Millpond Feier. It’s a local marzen. Pretty tasty, but there’s not much aroma.

...it just came out of the oven...letting it cool down for a bit (my thinking being: you order one from a shop, it's been waiting for you about 5 - 10 minutes, it takes you about 10 minutes to get home, a few more before you pile up the slices on your plate...anyway, a pie report to follow shortly (with a likely Russian River beer side dish :sunglasses:)...
