Have a good saturday BA. Thanks @Shanex for the start off as is usual . Me and my wife are driving up to Cleveland today, but are in Columbus visiting in-laws. They want to meet at Robert Evans for Brunch at 1:30 but we have to check out at noon, so I decided we are going to Somewhere In Particular brewing after we check out. We closed out Seventh Son and I got my "last call" badge on untappd. Finally crossed 10k written beer reviews on BA today, still have backlog leftover from untappd in the hundreds though! @Todd needs to add more levels to the karma tree I gotta get my place reviews in order though, to be fair.

Starting with a wicked weed Pernicious. I might get some sleep, but definitely no free breakfast after food poisoning yesterday

Looks like it's going to try to rain today, since last night's Canadian rain missed us - I didn't get all of last year's leaves burnt - some were still too wet - but the snow blower has abandoned it's place in the garage and moved back into the shed to estivate and the lawn mover has moved into the garage.

Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Firmly Rooted from Free Will Brewing. Purchased from their website 11/03/25. 12.68 fl oz capped bottle, $ 11.00 (Including tax)/ $ 0.868/fl oz. Reviewed 19/04/25 (Review 3508). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Final impression and summation: 4 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated personal container) Best spruce-tip beer I’ve had, bar none! The spruce is present in both the flavor and aroma, although it fades a bit as the nose ages. The lemon-ness seems to accentuate the spruce terpenes. The label seems to be original block-printed art, marked with what may be the artist’s initials –if so, kudos to Free Will for producing unique labels and giving the artist credit!
