Hello from Texas!

    Hi! I'm Heather from Texas. Originally, I grew up in Minnesota and lived there for most of my life up until about three years ago.

    I really got my start with all the craft breweries in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area starting in 2010. (There are much better breweries in MN than in TX in my opinion!) Some MSP favorites include: Blackstack, Modist, and Barrel Theory.

    My husband and I love to try new breweries when we travel all over the USA and the world.

    Some places I was surprised to find great beer.....Italy and Croatia.

    But my motto about beer is the weirder it is the more I want to try it. One of my favs in the DFW (Dallas/Ft. Worth) Texas area Martin House has made some wild beers over the years such as pizza and hot wing.

    Cheers and welcome to BA! My beer travels have taken me through a lot of the country - but Texas is one of my least visited (and least craft beer sampled) states, but I'd love to correct that soon!

    Nice write-up Heather. Welcome to BA. Hang around as much as you'd like and explore the site's features. As a traveler I think you'd benefit greatly by using the Places feature to search for destinations when you are planning trips. Since the BA databases are user-generated for their info, perhaps your explorations can produce new places to add, and ratings and reviews are always welcome too.
