This topic has popped up in various threads over the years but dealing with it for the first time today in my own BA experience. Cascade has recently closed, the saddest of news, but they still have tons of product in the market around the Northwest, and I just had a banger variant of The Vine, called The Vine: Rose, done with pinot grapes and piquette, just fire. The beer isn't listed here and BA has disabled the add a beer for closed locations, but this beer is very much out there and should probably be able to be added/reviewed, and I am sure there are others.

Any way we can open this option up to still add reviewable beers to breweries that have since closed but maybe with beers that didn't get added before the doors closed? This is especially relevant for Cascade, who made so many beers that were built to last...

    Thanks!

I've yet to create a solution for this, but it's on my list. Not sure if I'll simply allow everyone to continue to add beers after a brewery is closed, but I'll keep it simple.

In the meantime, I encourage everyone to enter beers that we're missing (even if you're not rating them yet). And please note that mods can't add beers unless the brewery is tagged as not closed, which is something we shouldn't be doing.

    More to follow...

    Thanks!
