Going over to a co-workers, he's cooking steak & hopefully some of some of tge wildlife he has harvested. Plenty of beer to be consumed

Another intermittently rainy day on tap to start the weekend - got a half-shit-ton of leaves, branches, and tree limbs burnt Friday in anticipation of the impending rain. My goal for next week is to shorten the elephant grass obscuring my vision. Gotta love the local spring monsoon!

Anvil Chorus from Jackie O’s. Received from their website. 12.7 fl oz capped bottle, price unrecorded. Reviewed 26/04/25 (Review 3515). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 The label artist, Chris Monday, is given credit, for what, on closer inspection, is an accurate (if obvious) depiction of the yclept beer. Aroma is initially bourbon, which mellow as it ages – maybe some brownies (why not?) – just kind of generic chocolatey/darkish fruit. Overall, not bad, just not great.

Hello mates. Happy weekend and a fresh start to today's Virtual Bar festivities. I need your help and that's why I'm here. I've a few doo dads around the shack. Swap the 20 ton log splitter and snow groomer for the two lawn mowers. We didn't get too much snow this winter otherwise I'd have made more Snow Grooming posts in that thread. Nevertheless, anytime I touch my lawn tractor, a beer must be had. !!
