Stone IPA (6.9% canned 1/27/2025): A West-coast IPA with flavors of bitter lemon, apricot, orange, and resinous pine. Bitter and resinous.

Following @VABA with another beautiful pour of the OG West-Coast IPA on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

 

Well, enough *****-footing around. It's time for my first 2025 Big Dirty from Ludlam Island. I look forward to its release every April. This DIPA has all the subtlety of a 2x4 across the forehead - in a good way!

 

Trying to like this beer but feeling like I should have waited for Hoptimum. I know this beer always bent sweet but seems a little over the top this year. Lagunitas Waldo's. Cheers!

 

Definitely was a Pale Ale.

I’ve seen their Helles in cans, but not the marzen. This beer is so flavorful. Still excellent stuff, even after all these years.
