Had this friday night - I wouldn't quite go that far, but you sure won't be disappointed with it. It's an excellent beer, and honestly thought it was drinking better on Friday than it was at Stout Week.

A public notice from the city of St. Charles posted on an FB group suggests that Side Project is developing a location in St. Charles, just next door from Good News. (Which is probably bad news for them, ironically.)

Has SP launching in Illinois been discussed?

How much SP is WI getting?

Oak & Steel in KCMO doesn't seem to be getting SP super often, but they do post some heavy hitting stouts occasionally. I'm just fascinated by SP getting intro distro, especially beyond their home state.

I had the willet vanilla rye and double willet this past weekend, both were excellent!

pretty crazy db derivations are still available on line, high caliber dbd too. Pretty clear packs with sours aren’t doing it for folks (it’s keeping me from buying another one that’s for sure)

It has definitely done the same for me. Just no interest in more sours unless it's Floodland, SARA or HF (by and large)

I really wonder if they are slowing sour production down based off of these metrics.

I would hope so. As the great Joe Dirt once said “It’s not about what you like, it’s about the consumer.”

Kind of hoping for a barleywine soon. Haven't had a true barleywine (aside from 10th Anniversary which wasn't online or available to LC) since Continuance 5 which was almost a year ago. Had a few stout/BW blends and a hundred stouts but I need my raisin caramel fix.

Possibly related, Ritual appears to be a 750ml non waxed bottle

And based off of their post, I already see the sour it's going to be packaged with!

Our Imperial Stout Collaboration with Abridged Beer Company and Xul Beer Company from Knoxville Tennessee. This co-written collaborative Imperial Stout recipe was finished on chopped hazelnuts, hazelnut coffee, and Ugandan and Costa Rican vanilla beans.

Why does SP keep making saisons if people aren’t interested in them? Is there an economical reason for it? TG makes stouts and IPAs and seems to be doing okay.

I’m only seeing the DBD Willet still listed online. But I don’t want 2 saisons. Are you seeing others listed?

The economical reason is they can force the sales jd them at top dollar in packages. They need to make $15 grisette again, but it’s better off economically mixing random sours and calling it CdC #42069 at $40/bottle
