Just wanted to confirm that proxies are still a go for us out of towners? Also, are the limits per season ticket that you have?

 

Proxies are fine, but the V.S.O.J. boxes specifically have to be picked up the release weekend - the Taproom won't be holding on to these for weeks like the normal Deep Wood releases. The regular lotto boxes follow all normal rules - proxies okay, can be held for a few weeks.

Limits are per person, regardless of number of season tickets.

 

Was there a 2020 version of VSOJ, or is that a typo in the email under the Library Box 4 pack section? There isn't a 2020 vintage listed on untappd, only 2018 & 2021. I can't remember if there was a small batch that came out or not.

 

They have the 2020 DB VSOD correctly listed above the entry you note. Therefore, I would imagine a typo of 2021 VSOJ you mention is the most likely scenario, with the remote possibility it could be 2020 Cuvée de Grace or 2020 Ten Year.

There was no 2020 VSOJ canned release, consistent with their announcements or archive linked below.

Good catch, should be 2018 & 2021 V.S.O.J. The V.S.O.J. verticals were limited in quantity by Double Barrel V.S.O.J., which we have the fewest cans remaining of, so we decided to share the love and add some cases of the remaining V.S.O.J. cans into the Lotto Boxes.

 

There's a 2017 vintage as well but they can't put that in the mystery box

 

In the email, does the term “His Barley-ness” hint at things to come for this years deep woods, besides Strawberry Jacket and XV?

Confirmed. Multiple releases for the next Deep Wood season will contain barley.

I think it might have something to do with these (at least new to me) mid page ads that pop up between posts. I think it's throwing off the calculation of where you should be on the page.

 

Any word on if Rev might host Freedom Fest again this year? Really enjoyed it two summers ago, and was bummed to not see it on the calendar last year.

 

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! That was a passion project for a handful of us, and we were really proud of it.

Sadly, we won't be able to hold Freedom Fest again this year - that's not a reflection on the event itself, as it was quite successful, but just a result of us needing to focus our marketing efforts on different brands (such as Cold Time and a soon-to-be-announced upcoming release).
