I used to love the 40oz bottles, and also the 64's, quiet as kept. They need to bring that mammoth serving back.

Yes! The big bottles left in the paper bag. I wonder if in Cincinnati one can still get the monster bottles of Little Kings:thinking_face: Cheers.

Haven’t had a beer for a few days. This arrived yesterday. A good beer to wash down half a maple bacon donut with.

I think a good amount. It goes really well with the juicyness of the hops. Very well done. I had to grab a 2nd sixer.

Happy you're digging that one, man! The full name is actually in a super obscure spot on the back of the label for one reason or another  - "Straight Up Stout" (although still not real creative :expressionless:)

I had a similar but thankfully different experience as an unaffiliated coach (i.e. no kid involved). I wanted to coach, and signed up to be an assistant in the local version of rec/scholastic baseball (for lack of a term).

I ended up in a scenario where there was a "farm system" draft thing where I was the head coach of the transition year between levels (I want to say 13yr olds). We "drafted" like 12 players, and when we got nine to show up for a game, it was exciting - we didn't have to "borrow" defensive players.

Skipping to the point, the parents were universally great - despite us winning like, maybe 2-3 games. It was more work than I intended, but I found it rewarding and I hope the kids improved in small ways under my guidance. But I will likely never know - the downside, perhaps, of not being "affiliated" to re-use that term.

(I also did assistant coach another team a few years later, still "unaffiliated" - and that was less stressful for me)

For you more involved folks (@muchloveforhops3 and others)
