Its Mother's Day...I can't be with my Mom this year, as the rest of my family is up in Illinois. Though I always spin the albums and artists she got me into when I was younger. I still listen to them all now as well, anything from Paul Simon, Talking Heads, Carole King...and a lot more.

So, here is to my Mom, with Graceland spinning. One of the earliest albums I can remember listening to, and still a favorite.

True Anomaly Rocket Park Pale Ale in the glass.

Man, kids do grow up fast and well, a reminder about how we’re not getting any younger, either. Give it a few more years before we call you grandpa.

Joking but not so sure, I remember you sharing pics of the fam several years ago. Toddlers then, teens now.

This one is for @champ103 because his song selection reminded me of it. A message we can all get behind today.

Happy Mother's Day! I'm back once again after months of promising a regular return, and then failing to commit. Hahaha. Cheers, folks!

I'm not sure if this link will work. I always to use to copy and paste images from Facebook here and it worked. Not sure if it still will. Anyway, I'm drinking WeldWerk's Coffee Coconut Stout.

velkopopovicky kozel lezak. A Czech Pilsner 4.6%.

I was expecting diacetyl but to my surprise it’s minimal if even there at all I just know what Czech pilsners are to me. And the can says product of Poland but upon research it does say online that’s it’s originally brewed 25km south of Prague? Bought by SABmiller in 2002 and sold to asahi in 2016. This beer was also apparently shot into space via Russia?

quite the resume. Anyways it’s a good beer but I can’t help but compare it to similar others and I’ll take tyskie and even zyweic over this but nevertheless this is still a good beer. It’s got a lemony citrus skin zip to it and full bodied for less than 5%. The bite this beer has is almost American pale ale levels of lemon peel and it goes down sharp BUT it’s not unpleasant especially in this humidity

    cheers

Right along here ba. Sos once again.

Been reading that thread on ba’s not being able to find really fresh beer. This is one of the easiest beers to find, in the north east, in terms of consistent quality batch and freshness.

This is about as much as I indulge in nowadays. Is a sought after strain of cubensis mushrooms called Penis Envy. Grown by me.

    Cheers y'all!

Sir the last time I saw those mushrooms good lord.
My best friend and I ate what I remember the equivalent being of a half ounce so 4 stems and caps each washed down with a 6er of PBR and we were taking a night walk talking about how we weren’t noticing anything. Then it became “walking on marshmallows” then by the time I got to the end of the block the poor homeowners whose lawn I projectile threw up all over it was like I was turning into a werewolf. Time didn’t exist. Just joy without a single worry. He got too hot which I can agree with because I feel too much and u drenched in sweat and took all his clothes off and was laying naked on the floor on an RV with only sneakers and a bandana on and his girlfriend came thru the door confused as to what we were doing and where his clothes went. That for whatever dramatic reason kickstarted my 2 year vegetarian episode but also I believe changed my way of thinking and lowered my anxiety tenfold. Now I’m much more responsible with goldies and edibles but without those I feel I was a different person. Cheers.

This is a very fine hazy India pale ale. It has a high ABV yet it is well-masked with the malt and hop makeup. Well-balanced for the style and sporting a killer aroma.
