Check out the beer menu at this little diner. Pretty impressive for a very little hamburger diner. Their entire food menu is literally about 8 items. https://www.archiesflattop.com/ ' https://www.archiesflattop.com/drink-menus
That’s an impressive beer list, great options and not a ton of stuff to be too overwhelming. Usually most diners have a few local options with some BMC lights.
I like that beer list, Also, that’s a great name for a restaurant, someone really smart should name their kid that!
Very impressive beer list indeed, no outrageous/onerous beer prices. I’d go if I wasn’t on the wrong continent.
Give the place a review on this site! I’m been there a few times, and Archie’s is a good place for a burger and a beer without breaking your wallet. It looks like the tap menu has changed a little since I last stopped in. Ironically, I’ve stuck with PBR and Schlitz during my visits.
Spotted Cow is in strange company! You are right though, that is an impressive list for most any establishment, big or little.
yeah Moon Man under craft and Spotted under domestics seems odd at first. But to a non craft drinker, it probably actually makes sense to list them like that
Wow wasn't expecting to see Archie's on here today. That place is fucking dope! Best burger in Milwaukee and I say this as a long time Kopp's devotee (locals will know that's a big claim to be making in public). Their lacey crisped edge smasherburgers inspired me to splurge on a Blackstone flat top.
I have to imagine from the restaurants perspective that smash burgers eliminate a lot of headaches. You no longer need to worry about level of doneness and deal with complaints. Smashburgers seem way more prevalent than even 5 years ago
I'm so here for it. Honestly just happy the era of tall thick burgers is behind us. But definitely give these guys a go if you haven't been. One of their standard toppings is beer fried onions and the ice cream place attached to it is solid as well. Great place to get fat.
