    1) Hop Butcher Double Pepperoni (7.8% canned 3/25/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Vic Secret & Citra for flavors of grapefruit, guava, green lime zest, melon, and pine.
    versus
    2) Hop Butcher A Decade Of Hop Decadence (8.5% canned 3/11/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Simcoe, and Galaxy for flavors of mandarin orange, berries, tropical melon, and mango. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Hop Butcher NEIPA Battle. First is Double Pepperoni. Some fantastic Nelson, Vic Secret, Citra. Grapefruit, some guava zest. Nicely done.
    Next is their 10th anniversary IPA. Some nice orange, tangerine, tropical berries flavor. The hop are a bit more standard, but I really like the balance here. Lucky to be alive during the reign of Hop Butcher and I'll celebrate ten years with them.

    Taking a break from reviews with one from the cellar, Kros Strain/Williquors Barrelywine Volume 10 24mo BBA English Barleywine, 13% ABV. I rated this 4.62 last year.

    #2, it is my very humble opinion that Rev’s barrel program is the equal of any brewery ….. anywhere. This beer is yet another example of their prowess in that space - this is like a boozy chocolate covered cherry, and it was canned 11/11/20. Absolutely love it.
