My Thai chilies and heirloom Jalapeno plants are coming along nicely. Will be moving them to their own individual pots in the near future. The ones with a toothpick are the Jalapenos.

I rarely cross-post, but this is a late afternoon experiment that will last a little while longer as I still have just under half of each left after posting in the Side-by-side thread.


The GF and I had them in opposite order though we both agreed, there isn't a bad on in the bunch.

 

This is a local Mexican lager, where our group will eat before sharing bottles at my house on 7/19/25.

We stopped by a local watering hole/Tavern for some quality non-festival grub.
Honestly, I should have gotten a Guinness.
I really don't like Summer Ale all that much. It's just....meh.

The rest of the draft selection is not up to "my standards", as in IPAs and light beer.

Still donating money to the horses but at least they have guiness

 

And worth every penny!
After two days of wine, mead, melomel and port sampling, that was like the Pot Ó Gold at the end of the rainbow.
For a 10% offering, it was well cloaked in the cloth of malt & hops.
I was impressed with the generous serving vessel as well, as I absolutely despise getting a junior sized glass of Belgian Ale with a nipple on it.

 

One of my favorite classics! I remember playing this in my band the Slang Expressions back in the day. Cheers!
