    1) Benediktiner Helles (5.0%): A German Helles with flavors of pale Munich malt, earthy and sweet honey. Smooth.
    versus
    2) Hofbrauhaus Helles Lager (4.9%): A German Helles with flavors of earthy and rustic Munich malts. Clean and smooth. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    German Helles Battle. First is Benediktiner. Smooth, earthy, and authentic. Very nicely done and standard.
    Next is Hofbrauhaus Helles lager. A new version of their helles. A bit lighter than their original. Smooth with authentic honey and earthy Munich malts and still the same Hofbrau flavor. Outstanding release here.
    Winner: Hofbrauhaus
