    Happy Friday everyone, where ever you are in the galaxy! Wishing everyone a fine weekend and some excellent beers to taste.

    Dale's Double IPA from Oskar Blues is another of these "could be worse" fruity DIPAs in the giant cans. The hops all sound legit and it's neither astoundingly sweet nor bitter. Even the pile of sticky foam is appealing. It just lacks something of finesse. Taste is fruit and more fruit but I can't find the Marischino cherry. It's like the busty barmaid bending over as she leaves your drink, hoping to improve what is looking like a fifty cent tip. No shortage of alcohol, but somehow it leaves me thinking I'd rather have that straightforward gulp of Olde English.

    First after work beer on Friday in Tokyo. This is Futako Cloudy IPA, at the brewery. Will have another beer, either here or at Mikkeller, before dinner: trout ramen.
