https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https://i.redd.it/0tdidfjl064f1.jpeg Device a few weeks ago, but now a huge shocker: Track 7. They just announced permanent closure of both locations - no last hurrah, no empty the kegs. I apparently enjoyed them more than most hardcore beer enthusiasts. I liked their frequent list rotations and they'd show Kings games, and how easy they were to get in and out of in the heart of Sacramento. The question is if they were no longer able to meet expenses/were no longer liquid, or if some of the personal ownership drama of the past caught up to them.
Maybe this had to do with it https://www.reddit.com/r/Sacramento/comments/xaqh18/more_track_7_drama_what_do_you_make_of_it/
Heres the drama thread on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Sacramento/comments/1l04ssk/track_7_closing_down/ And more https://amp.sacbee.com/food-drink/beer/article226840499.html
What a knucklehead in 2016 he told a manager and the manager’s wife, “I wear a size 12 shoe and got a big old schlong hanging out my lederhosen.” I also wear a size 12, but it never occurred to me to brag about it or say something that stupid. I’m surprised they stayed open almost 10 years after the Sac Bee article. From the Reddit thread, it sounds like they made good beer and were pretty busy.
That scumbag lived across the street from my brother. Complete POS. Talked shit about everything and everyone. Fuck him. T7 was garbage. Bye felicia.
