A new “with” beer is coming soon. With tarpey, stout and barleywine blend with vanilla. What brewery does tarpey work at?

I would actually really like to revisit the 2019 Tete but $70 for a beer whose most recent vintage has been sitting around to go at the brewery for months (at $50) is a tough sell

It was up on mine for like 3 minutes. Luckily I got one. But then it disappeared when I went back to the page.

 

I'm glad the Veil is making a collab with SP. Veil is only about 20 mins from my house and we used to jump on all of their stout offerings. One year they did a collab with Angry Chair and from that point on everything was 2x-3x sweeter than it was before. They haven't abandoned the sweetness either, so i'm hoping SP will influence Matt T the same way that AC did years ago.
The only SP beer that's ever been crazy sweet, IMO, is the Coconut Vibes series. B1 was perfect, but then subsequent batches had more coconut and it crossed into cloying territory.

 

The 2019 Tete was (and still is) excellent and shunned by the Wax Bros because they did it as foil instead. I love that beer.

 

Yes, anything adjuncted from the veil is way too sweet. Their non adjuncted stuff has always been pretty solid though. imo

 

Haven't they already collab'd on Bubble Wrap?

 

A non-adjunct Pallbearer from the Veil is a great beer - it's a shame they release it so infrequently. I think I still have a Pallbearer Reserve Melange which was also an excellent beer. Can't imagine there's too many of those left floating around.

Yeah, think it was AC / OH / SP / Veil, off the top of my head

 

Weldwerks was a part of this as well

 

Occasionally they'll have a cellar sale and ones like that will pop up. That's regarded by the locals as the best iteration of PB

 

The did a BA Wheatwine the last couple of years called Holographic Universe...It was like $20-24 a bottle but it was a high quality sipper.

 

Dude. Just received an email from SP saying my Van Winkle BBT was confirmed in error because they oversold. Did anybody else get this email?
