But this one is cleansed:


Very good beer, typical strong, blonde belgian ale with a bit of oak layering, but for drinkability, the 8,5% abv s a bit of a hurdle. Not masked subtily masked or hidden with sweetness.

 

Beerselection, the best specialty beer store in Budapest, has 12oz cans of Torpedo for sale for 3000 forints -- $8.50 per can

 

Botswana! Awesome! Do they have Chibuka Shake-Shake there too?

 

Back at “home” and sipping on a TIPA from Factory in Finland, a brewery I only just recently learned about. It’s outstanding - Triple Reveries of Motueka.

About to be some High Lifes....its hot and hazy here and that beer hits the spot

 

Phase Three/Omnipollo Pixel Fata IPA (Citra/Nelson Sauvin). Part of Phase Three's Pixel & Pals Worldwide pack where they've collabed with breweries across the world on a different riff on their Pixel IPA. This one is supposed to be a mashup of Pixel and Omnipollo's Fatamorgana. It's a dry and crisp, yet soft hazy with notes of white grape, passionfruit, some pineapple, some diesel, floral, navel orange flesh and peel, earthiness, and some pine. Solid stuff.

 

That is a statement to ponder

Phase Three/North Park Art is Pixel IPA (Citra, Simcoe, Motueka). A mashup of P3's Pixel and North Park's Art is Hard. Definitely drinks like a west coast hazy. Dry and bitter with the hops bringing lime sorbet, ripe valencia orange, yellow grapefruit, tangelo, lime and orange zest, earthiness, and pine resin. Silky, soft, and smooth. This one is awesome.
