Rumor has it that it may be drier today, so maybe I can finish mowing the yard and get some more plants in the ground - or maybe not!
Today's New Breakfast Beer:


Dreadnaught from 3 Floyds. 16 fl oz can. Reviewed 09/06/25 (Review 3535). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Final impression and summation: 4 Uncredited label artist. Decent IPA – glad to see some of 3 Floyds’ stuff on the local shelves, even though it’s only the IPAs. For an “Imperial IPA” this seems quite muted on the taste buds. It is, however, nicely bitter.

Joining @Ozzylizard with a Chicago area selection. Dreadnaught is one of my favorite Imperial or Triple IPAs (Hop Nuts Triple IPA and Pliny the Younger the other two).

This is a heavy hitter as well, selected while taking advantage of another crisp cool Chicago Summer morning. Enough fridge beer cleared to transfer my final case and a half from the basement cellar.

Had a nice weekend and visit from my lovely gf....did some hiking and boating and had a nice time overall!

Pulled this rather old (best by 2022!) Unibroue brew - still tasting great - their beers hold up pretty well - esp in the cellar.....

Hoof Hearted Everybody Wants Some triple IPA TDH Citra variant

 

I had a good week riding my bicycle around Cartersville and Dawsonville Georgia. Visiting the Drowned Valley Brewing Company outpost in Euharlee was a highlight.

Now I'm home drinking a Charles Towne Fermentory The Yellow Brick Commute Amarillo.
As a bicycle nerd I appreciate that the Tin Man is riding a nice Italian GIOS bike.

 

Never saw a beer with breakfast before.

Just left Mountain View.
Had a beer sampler there.
Beers were ok, a little thin, but overall good enough.


SS is their pale ale. That was pretty good.
The Shandy was interesting.
The Lager was pretty good.
The Wheat, eh.....
You can customize the Wheat beer to your liking with fruit syrups.
It could use it.
