Good afternoon, BAs. We’re at the Schlafly brewery/taproom in St. Louis. I was hoping to hit Narrow Gauge or Perrennial but they are both closed on Monday. But this is a nice venue! Starting with Imperial Tasmanian IPA. Big passion fruit and sharp Galaxy hops. Cheers!

 

Check out of hotel was 11 am and flight is not until 4 pm. What's a BA to do, yep go to a brewery! Enjoyed the beers, food and talks for 2 1/2 hours at Fiden's in Albany
1) Nachos and Crashing Waves WCIPA
2) Self Contained IPA

 

Here is beer 3 or 4 and 5. Tall pour is was Cultivation IPA and my favorite. I had. Freshly tapped!

 

Grocery shopping, all other errands, and a 3 mile walk complete. Now for a relaxing deck beer. Sam Adams American Light Lager. Cheers!

 

I’m now having Schlafly’s Maibock. If I’m reading my phone correctly, then this beer hasn’t been rated or reviewed on BA since 2015, which doesn’t seem possible. One thing is clear: it’s a very good Maibock. Cheers from St. Louis!

We are heading for a weeks stay in S.O.D. in late September. Kind of sounds like you would recommend this brewery?

Ironically enough week 2 of our Sept/Oct trip will have us in The Berkshires and already have Fidens on the XLSX of things to do. Good to know they are open on a Monday!

Another low 80's day here south of Asheville and settling in with a TIPA from Burial hopped primarily with Citra variants, quite tasty.

Easy driving day…just finished my workout at Planet Fitness, now drinking a beer in the parking lot - Other Half’s “All Green Everything” TIPA, ringing in at 10.5% abv:



Alcohol well hidden. Tropical fruit flavor. A darn delicious hazy light from the masters of the “style”. Cheers from Portland, ME y’all!
