My son and I are planning to see the Dodgers and Rockies game at Coors Field coming up in 2 weeks. We will be flying in from LAX and flying back right after the game. It’s an afternoon game. I heard that Coors is brewed inside the ballpark? What can I expect as far as craft beers available inside the park. We are not only there to see the Dodgers but to check out a ball game and the ballpark. Is there nothing just outside the ball park? We won’t have time to check out places in the city. Thanks.

Can't help you with what's all available in the ballpark, but, the closest places would be Bierstadt and Odell's Pilot House. Both about a mile from Coors Field. So, about a 20 minute walk or a short Uber.

Blue Moon has a taproom in the park behind right field called 'The Sandlot'. They have more than just Blue Moon with a few pilot beers brewed onsite. It has a separate entrance so you can go before the game starts if you'd like.

A couple options that are an easy walk outside the ballpark for pre or post game would be Westbound and Down in the Dairy Block or Tap 14. W&D is just a small satellite taproom with mostly their normal catalogue but their beer is great and the Dairy Block is cool venue. Tap 14 is also just down the street from the stadium and has a ton of Colorado beers on tap and a nice little roof patio. If you have a decent amount of time and don't mind a 20 minute walk, I've often parked at Bierstadt for free and ate/drank there before heading to the game.

Those are the places I frequent when I go to see the Rockies get blown out.

(RIP Falling Rock :sob:) That said, knowing @dcgunman 's preferences from the pacific forum. You're gonna want to wander over to Westbound & Down just a couple blocks away for what you crave.

The beers at the Sandot are extremely good for what it's worth. They've won a boatload of GABF awards over the years, so you aren't even having to settle for something "good enough" while you're in the park. They're definitely not cheap, but they are good.
