Yeah this is pretty awesome. I’ll be able to drive 5 minutes down the road to the City in Portsmouth and pick up Congress St and the like as another solid option. And while yes, they aren’t necessarily that earth shattering these days. They’re still well above and beyond a lot of the turds in the cooler these days. Pulp daddy, jetty juice, juice lord etc

I’ll much rather grab Trillium than jetty juice,

Pulp daddy, Jetty juice, and juice lord. For a second I thought you were making up these names as some tongue-in-cheek sarcastic joke of mock IPAs. But they’re real lol

Saw some Trillium at The Beer Store in Salem, NH this weekend for anyone interested. Also, that place is great for single cans; you can break apart any four pack they offer. Great store.

That's pretty cool, you can't even buy single cans at Trillium. Used to love getting a few 4packs then a single of something I might otherwise never try.

LOL. Now I'm all bummed at how many breweries won't sell singles anymore.

agree. Shout out to fox farm. Best brewery selling singles at no markup. Some breweries in Brooklyn do it but they will jack up the price and you’ll pay like $6-7 per can

It’s been nice seeing Trillium getting into our bars in and around Portsmouth. Even where you don’t expect it. Also has hit Maine a bit more.

Can't deny, I love me some pulp daddy. Just wish it was a tad more consistent.

Okkkkk, it was just a name that came to me and is everywhere I look.

I can say I’ve had a few over time. Not trying to throw shade

They don’t advertise it, but Freak Folk also sells singles. But they do charge a small fee for it. IMO it’s worth the surcharge so I can try all the cans they have rather than buying a single four pack.

Grabbing this threat for the Headroom day post.

Can anyone confirm this but I swear to god the last two(I think there’s been two before this year since Covid?) They absolutely did not highlight or even mention Galaxy hops being in Headroom. I’m assuming due to the shit crops and I remember it being a lot more mosaic heavy with other hops blended? Maybe I’m nuts but I seem to remember this.

Hoping this years is excellent once agin given the recent Trillium Galaxy beers have been quite good.

Didnt see this thread before my post about canned cocktails. But I got the headroom email and while perusing their site I noticed the canned cocktails & they look good. Anyone had them? How are they?

According to the email, I believe you mean HEADROM.

Their IG and emails are usually the same, and as you remembered, '23 and '24 IG posts dont mention specific hops at all, just tasting notes.

But 25 does, and I remember seeing it somewhere listed in 2024 or 23 and I seem to remember Galaxy not being mentioned. Not a big deal, but curious if this may be more like years past before the hiatus

This is infinitely better than the last two years. It’s very much Galaxy forward with Mosaic to add some berry flavor. Last two batches had a vanilla flavor that was mild, but it was there.

I firmly believe the year they had three fruited and vanilla variants was to compensate for the lack of or lack of good Galaxy. Worth the trip but we had to be close to Boston tonight anyways. Get some
