Got a 4 pack 120 minutes IPA for 35 bucks yesterday. Special edition (15.5 %).

 

Tilted Barn WC style Pale Ale. Maybe it's me but this tastes like a Pale Ale that could be EC as well as WC. Really easy drinking and good though.

 

i am against all that, but we will be at an aunts house and they are Iranian. She feels uncomfortable not being fully covered up

Here's what iv been up to lately. Been spending around 250 a week for about 2 months to get this built. 1 thing I figured out getting back into riding is it absolutely sucks getting older physically.

Half Acre/Firestone Walker Daisy Cutter Union (HQG #4, Krush, Simcoe). Red currant, big grapefruit peel, strawberry, some navel orange flesh and peel, black pepper, resinous pine. Bready and very slight caramel malts are the to provide some balance. Dry, crisp, and bitter finish. Really good stuff.

Tonight's motivation beer for dinner. I finally bit the bullet and tried one. Meh, not that good, but, not quite as horrible as I expected either.
I think once it warms up a bit, that opinion is subject to change.

Hidden Hand Vibes From The Heartland (5.2%): A West-Coast Pilsner from Illinois with flavors of bright flower, lemon, pine. Hoppy and bitter.

First try at this from Hidden Hand in Chicagoland. It's bitter and hoppy upfront. Tons of flavor and bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel. A little soapy, but the hops and bitterness are there. Still not sure what this style is, but it's enjoyable.

 

Getting some storms here, and I am enjoying this tasty treat.
