Weldwerks is known to produce solid stronger beers across several different styles. While most aren't ultra mega super RAR, they aren't on most shelves, either.

 

Buy out Hair of the Dog and include all of their beers

 

See if you can get New Glarus’s Imperial Pilsner (8.7%) that comes out soon. Since it’s only WI distro otherwise. Eagle Park in Milwaukee has some decent +8%. Keeping Together Brewing is trying to open this summer in Santa Fe, NM. They made great saisons in Chicago when they were tenant brewing there- a well crafted big saison would be an interesting addition to the box. Edit: No clue if they plan to package beer or format.

 

An imperial BA stout from Tree House and a Triple IPA from them or a Barley wine....Can't miss

 

That was enticing and delivered for the style. Not something id want to a lot of in one sitting though.

 

So many great ideas & breweries already mentioned. I'll add my 2 cents in support of big BA strong ales, barleywines & stouts. A BA Belgium or BA IPA keeps with the Big Box theme. Fremont, Bottle Logic, Burial, Taxman, Bombastic, Kane (their Double Double Cask barleywine from a prior Big Box was incredible).

I’m guessing it has to be larger breweries? I actually like the boxes that feature more of the obscure breweries from places most people don’t go, but idk how that would work

High abv fruit beer could be explosive in the summer mail anyway.

 

Kane Brewing of NJ brewed Double Double Cask barley wine for the 2022 Extreme Beer Box. The variety of abv at 8% or above is plentiful.

A brewery in Georgetown, DE, Revelation Brewery, has only 2 beers at 8 or above. They’re worth a look.

Goose Island. I can imagine GI popping a version of BCBS in the upcoming new bottle size for the BA box, if requested. Wow.

 

I’d love to see some rarities, good enough to buy a box and have my daughter send it to me, because I wanna participate. Dammit.

Maybe it's just me, but there are probably a lot of good reasons for that.

 

Here's my two cents. Althought I'm bummed that these beers can't be shipped to me in Michigan.

The only BA stouts and barleywines that I have purchased the last two years since I discovered them is Wax Wings and Arvon. These breweries also produce excellent IPAs, DIPAs and TIPAs.

Perrin No Rules would be a good inclusion in the box for those people who have never had it before.

Comrade More Dodge Less Ram is a stellar DIPA. It's 7.8% abv but that rounds up to 8%, amirite?

Other personal favorite DIPAs or bigger include Outer Range, Weldwerks, Wicked Weed, Other Half, Tree House, Fidens

Something ouside the box for bigger beer - Brewery Vivant Zaison. I'm not super big into saisons but I try to get a four pack of this every year.
