Sneaking in an early morning pre-flight selection, this a new to the world collaboration between two top worldwide breweries.

Full reivew linked above, full New Beer Weekend #257 treatment linked here. Bottom line, this is a solid balanced Helles, cracker fresh and tasty, simple but very enjoyable as are most beers from these breweries.

This one kicked off the two o'clock hour during the overnight set which @champ103 might enjoy, though not as much as the music which inspired the selection.

3 Monts Ambrée… a different iteration of 3 Monts which I am enjoying on what’s going to be a very balmy day at above 34c. Or a bit above 90F.

Engorile Brewery (Barcelona, Spain) III Anniversary Edition Double Black IPA., Cheers!

Summer Solstice is here and millions of people across France will attend the impromptu street concerts of “Fête de La Musique”, hosted by restaurants, bars, museums and even libraries — a French summer tradition for more than 40 years now.
Every street will be lined by musicians and the people will be dancing - and drinking - until tomorrow morning.,..
It’s gonna be a broiler out there - 97 degrees by 5:00.,. I’ll stay hydrated!

    G'day all!

Another day that is going to climb into the 90sF.

I'm sipping on my other can of this Imperial Pastry Porter. Again, it had its 15 seconds of foam. Really tasty...

    Prost!

Good day BAs! Thanks@ChicagoJ for opening the bar - enjoy your jaunt into warmer weather!

Went to the local farmers' market earlier today - my fav hydropondic purveyors were absent - no Swiss Chard or Bok Choy for me this week.

    Today's New Breakfast beer:

Trip in the Woods Brandy Barrel Aged with Mandarin Oranges & Cocoa from Sierra Nevada. Single 25.4 fl oz undated cork and cage bottle. Purchased 05/06/25 from Sierra Nevada on-line: $ 20.00/$ 0.787 per fl oz. Reviewed 21/06/25 (Review 3545).
Final impression and summation: 4 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated bottle) Uncredited label artist. I’ve had the BA Ovila Dubble a few times, when I’ve been lucky enough to find it, and really enjoyed it. This current iteration is better – you can rarely go wrong with mandarins (I add them to my salads). The cocoa counterbalances the little acid added by the mandarins. Overall, a pretty darn good drink I’ll track down again.

Happy Summer Solstice BA's! Thanks @ChicagoJ for getting us going.

Starting with a highly crushable Notch Rotbier, Nuremberg style red lager, on a warm and sunny day.
