Good morning BAs! Having my first cup of coffee this early am in the RV - “Singularity” a BBA Imperial Stout by South End Brewing Co., Greensboro, NC:



No canning date other than 2024. Poured at 52°. Bourbon nose/taste. Charred oak. Chocolate. A little mouth warmth from 11.3%. I liked this beer when we had it on tap at their brewpub/restaurant, and the cans have been great too.

Cool 60s rainy morning on tap, so sleeping in for Karin while I drink and take tasting notes…perfect weather for a “down” no travel day. Have a great day and Cheers from Bangor, ME, y’all!

A little cooler predicted for today. Highs only in the mid 70sF.

I'm sipping on this IPA from a mixed 12pack. I have already drank 1 each of the other 3 offerings and I am still not a fan of the brewery after all these years.

A second cup of coffee, please…”Double Cup” Imperial Coffee Stout, from Common Roots Brewing Company, South Glens Falls, NY:



Canning date hard to read other than 2024. Poured at 56°. Coffee nose and taste strong. Roast bitterness; chocolate on backend. Minimal warmth from 14% abv. Love this brewery. I buy this stout every time it pops up on Tavour.

It’s drizzle and 67° outside right now. Gonna sit tight and hopefully hit some bike trails down by the river this afternoon. Cheers y’all!

High Light from Rorschach Brewing Co.

Overall a top notch Light Lager. It manages to be light but still delivers a good malt flavour. Well worth a try. Reviewed over at NBW.
