What beer are you drinking now? #4632

Damn, this has been a long week. The other guy who does remote support is on vacation all week so I've been doing the work of two people all week. Can't wait until this week is over. Just had a minor t-storm roll through that knocked the temperature down from 95 to 83, so that's a bit of an improvement. I need refreshment ..

 

1) Phase Three Muon Juice (8.0% canned 6/2/2025): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Eclipse, Motueka, Krush for flavors of Zesty lime, orange blossom, and guava sorbet
versus
2) Equilibrium Aqueous Protractor (8.3% canned 4/2025): A NEIPA from NY with Citra, Motueka, Eclipse for flavors of orange, mango, peach cream, lime candy.

Phase Three and Equilibrium Battle. First is Phase Three Muon Juice, a collab with Equilibrium. Nice hop blend with Motueka and Krush. Lots of lime, citrus flower, and guava. Nicely done and bright.
Next is Equilibrium Aqueous Protractor. Similar, but more mango and peach. Excellent blend of hop flavors. I really like this hop combination here, outstanding.
Winner: Equilibrium Aqueous Protractor

I'm not a huge fan of High Life, but it's hard to beat in sweltering weather. For me, it's much more refreshing than say an IPA of a hazy. I especially don't find hazies to be refreshing beers. Have a great night of sleep

Thanks for reminding me - I have July 3rd through the 7th off, and I think I'm also going to take the 2nd off as well, then he can deal with all the BS .. . Cheers!!!

Backpocket Brewing - Bubba Hazy IPA

 

This one is really excellent also. @DoctorZombies Heady started this craze and when I had it in like 2011 it blew my mind. This was the beer that changed many of us and really hurt the WCIPA. I am guilty, a total haze head now! If you have Heady and you have had many of the new great breweries in the last 15 it won’t blow you away at all. It was the first and the bench in my opinion.
