    Next up is Aurum Orbitals from Bottle Logic. An imperial sout aged in bourbon barrels and finished with cacao nibs and hazelnuts. This one is from 2022 and comes in at 13% ABV. Fantastic beer.

    As long as they’re fresh, those are very nice. Old or housed unrefrigerated at the store and they lean toward skunky gushers. Skunky gushers. That could be a band name. I’m on to yellow beers, a Big Ditch Rocket Mule. These are sleeper winners, too, IMO. Cheers!

    The first, an Irish Red medaled at GABF and World Beer Cup 2022. It was malt biscuits great! The IPAs were excellent too. We’re beat from the day so we are going to head to our “campsite”.

    Just back from dinner. Mrs. Powell verbalized that she wanted to try The Preacher's Son in Bentonville. A restaurant in a former church. The consensus from all the Powells it that we've had better food for far less money. Live & learn
