Mactrail, I must admit I love a good Baltic Porter. Two of the very best stouts I've ever had were those...from Windsor's Craft Heads and Montreal's Brasserie McAuslan, respectively. But, I digress...



At my lady Pamela's house, with her two marvelous cats. My first for the day is my first from Carlsberg Canada, brewing in Kitchener, Ontario, their 5.5% Tuborg Gold (the import, original version is from Copenhagen, Denmark). With Gracie...

My second, with Sundae (speaking of stouts...both meanings of the word hahahahaha!), is my eleventh from nearby Windsor's Chapter Two Brewing Company on Edna St. They're a really warm and friendly place, with lots of board games, crokinole and euchre tournaments, and ambience. I want to try their kitchen, one of these days, either, once again, with my Responsible Beer Drinking Club (weekly) or with my Monthly Dinner Outing Group (both founded, and led since, August 2016!). Don't know why the bizarre light variation ended up in my photo...that's the first time it's ever happened to me...

It's going to be a hot day today, so I played an early round of golf. Now I'm in air conditioning, where I shall remain for the rest of the day.

 

Good day BAs. a lovely day here with abundant sunshine and a light breeze. I think I'll breeze on over to the garage and flirt with my lil' beer fridge. Probly a good idea to start this week off with the C-3PO of beer cans: Miller Lite 50th anniversary gold can. If they were to put 0.50% more taste in the beer, I wouldn't complain. Cheers!

Thanks to @ZlaVydra tipping me off, I'm enjoying a Fuller's ESB on draft with my Ceasar salad at Summits in Cumming, GA. Such a unique beer. Caramel & toffee malt, spicy & grassy hops. Fruit esters. Wonder thick, mousse-like head that just hangs. Cheers and thanks bro!

 

This is rather tasty - Strong Side Brewing Groundwork IPA. Currently being contract brewed by Castle Island Brewing in Norwood MA. I was a bit skeptical because I have never really cared for Castle Island brews, but this one is good,
