Maybe you'll get them nicely "warehouse aged" in a month or so

(Note: I do not think the smaller local store "cellared" last year's releases nor would accept such, but I did not verify in any fashion)

So far all I’ve seen is an ad for a local Oktoberfest celebration in September. No actual fall beers yet.

Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest is available year round (and based on the date stamps brewed year round) in Wisconsin.

Paulaner and Hacker are shown as available at the TW closest to me. Are they fresh? No idea.

Hope to get some copper Legend when I am in MA.

    Enjoy

As has been pointed out a few times (mostly in these autumnal threads), many German "seasonal" beers are available from the importer year-round, but a distro has to buy a certain minimum. If he doesn't think a seasonal will sell "off season," he's not taking a chance.

My area is one of those zones where Okto only really sells in the fall, so distros don't take the chance.

I'll have to check the Festival in Kenosha next time I'm there, but I'm sure not hard up enough for Okto to road trip to Menominee Falls, let alone Green Bay.

@Packman13 -- the K-Town Festival lists H-P Okto at their website. No way to tell the date, but I'll definitely stop in when I'm in the area.

I get Paulaner and Spaten here in my store year round. Both with reasonable dates. I expect the onslaught to begin in the next three weeks. My reps and I are already talking about it. And I'll just sell a crap ton of it when it begins. Definitely my favourite season.

Saw Hofbrau's Oktoberfest in 6-pack bottles at my store today. It had a best-by date in 2026, so it's not leftover from last year.

Was there any production code on the beer to indicate the packaging date?

    Cheers!

The HB distro in your area must try to lead the pack -- I remember you getting it hyper-early last year, too.

Average high temp in LA in July is 83. In September it’s 84. Only drops to 79 in October.

Not sure there’s an ideal time for fall beers there.
