Sacred Profane just started sending 12 packs to NJ, you can purchase for the low cost of $30.99; same price at the two stores I've seen stock it.

Thing is, that's less $14 for a 4x16 (per ounce) which I would snatch up in an instant for either the dark or pale. My local had both earlier this year for $29/12 but broke them down to 6ers for $16.

Yes which is already overpriced to me, I’ll add that I’ve had them and no beer I’ve ever bought at those prices brings me any more joy or enjoyment than ones I buy that run $10-12 a six pack.

It is sticker shock too, seeing all the 12 packs at $18-21, then bam $31.

    LOL!

I think I will just buy another 12-pack of Lord Chesterfield for $12.99.

    Cheers!

I think the most I've ever paid per ounce was approaching $3.50 for a few ounces of a taster of some Toppling Goliath Term Oil variant years ago.

Missed out on ever tasting a sample of any version of Sam Adams Utopias years & years & years ago when it only cost two arms and a leg so I'll never get on that boat unless it's a freebie somewhere, sometime, which will probably be the twelfth of never (which used to be a good Lagunitas ipa before the buyout & the new owners stopped brewing more than half of the old Lagunitas offerings).

Point being, I'll, "buy the ticket & take the ride" all the way up to $3.50/oz. for a brew, but it's got to be some extra-special-barrel-aged-high-alcohol-limited-edition-gold-flaked-orgasm-inducing-better-than-sex brew. AND it DAMN WELL better deliver on all counts across the board!

You're looking in the wrong places and though i may be late to this thread, go to rite aid to purchase urine beer. same goes with all the other crap that's similar. The only ok beer is pacifico or perhaps negro modelo (modelo negro)

A definite AAL favorite Mexican for me is Bohemia Clara. I would rate it better than Negra Modelo or Pacifico, and above marginally acceptable all malt Deschutes Costco Lager. It would likely be about the same price as those others. No impact on my pocketbook, since not available near me.

I’m on my second case of Bitburger cans. $23 for two 12 packs. If you buy only one it’s $13 and change. 11.2 oz cans dated 20 March 2026.

I picked up this today after work.

    Two Hearted 24x12 x2
    Bells IPA mix 24x12
    Bitburger 24x11.2
    $113 and some change

    Enjoy

Disgusting stuff, for sure, but surely that's two six packs for $6? Tell me that can't really be 2 cans of that swill for $6.

Two 12-ounce cans for $6. By my math, that works out to $3 per lifetime supply.

LOL! That's still $3 more than my lifetime supply.

I'm not even sure I can get this stuff at home. I've never seen it in a store out here.

Not that I've exactly been looking.

Good point, and I am an ardent ticker.

But pulling out my wallet to pay $3 for a can of that swill... knowing I'll be pouring almost all of it down the drain. Sigh. But then again, I did pay for a six pack of bud select 55 once upon a time.

In for a penny, in for a pound.

Got a 20oz pour of Lagunitas IPA for $11 at O’Hare last night. Not cheap by any means, but way less than I expected such a purchase to be.

Impressive. Would have expected a price north of $15 frankly.
