What beer are you drinking now? #4651

This IS a summer beer, as referenced on the can - nice lemon and spicy grass flavors, balanced by a bit of white bread. Very good Helles lager, IMHO.

 

Clever Girl. An IPA brewed by Triple Crossing. Last of the four pack. She said she will come back and visit me sometime.

this must be the summer for "boat deals" - I got this Wenonah / Pacific Water Sports 16 ft Sea Otter sea kayak yesterday - again, like the Seda sea kayak I got earlier - for $40....crazy! Just needs more cleaning up and it will be good to paddle!

A cool rainy one having spent the day in Southeastern British Columbia (Kootenay National Park) and Peyto Lake (Banff NP) that had temps in the 40’s. Currently in the mid 50’s back at Panorama Mountain where we saw Mama Moose and her baby getting a drink by the side of the road (the baby skittled away).
Enjoying a Calgary splurge pick-up, this is a solid BA EBA. Getting notes of toffee, raisins, and cherries. Barrel brings oak, vanilla, and a fresh whiskey vibe. Finishes balanced with a touch of boozy cherry in post sip aspirations. Rated 4.26.
