Main forum page error

    Looks like queries on our main forum page have exceed current PHP memory limits, which is causing sporadic 500 internal server errors, blank pages, and the like. Working on fixing this.

    In the meantime, other forum pages (and the rest of the site) seem to be working fine.

    Thanks for your patience! I'll post an update when a fix has been applied.

    Update: the issue is a bit more complicated than just hitting a memory limit, but I was able to apply an quick fix that seems to have stabilize things. I'll continue to monitor and plan on applying more fixes soon.

    On a side note: I didn't see any unusual spikes in traffic, however, it was our biggest day for site traffic within the last 30 days. A Wednesday? I'll need to do more digging.

    July 16th spike in traffic... Could it be the excitement around World Snake Day? Maybe the build up to World Emoji Day?:wink:
