It’s amazing that whiskey producers can keep the shelves stocked at all. I mean, the angel’s share can be up to 90%. How do they ever have product to sell.

I take it you've seen first hand the sheer size of a proper rickhouse in KY?

    Well, obviously.

My point is just that they act like if not for the evaporation they would have plenty of stout. Sour production and storage obviously impacts this. They have also said they won’t expand, or distribute, but all those things they said keep changing. It’s just a straw-man argument to suggest if not for evaporation there would be enough stout.

Redux is awesome, they nailed it and it not being barrel aged doesn't really take away from it

I second this comment about Redux. The cinnamon warms in a different way than a barrel does, also I found it to be heavy on the nose w/ maple syrup. It was interesting to compare it to Continuance 5, which I also had tonight.
Shoutout to whoever shared their bottle of Redux w/ my friend and I tonight; it was an unexpected treat, thanks!

I think I was part of that same bottle share last night, so my thanks, too! I liked Redux but found it a little on the sweet side for my taste.

It’s there, but not too much. As someone else said, it is sweet, but I think the cinnamon balances it nicely.

Not sure if this is what you were asking, but D19 was also sold in a public, online package (a 375 of Derivation + 1.5 liter of sour lol)

I reckon that the remaining D20 packages (if there are any) will go up to the public soon, like ...next week?

BBT19 is on tap at the brewery. That was a nice surprise for D20 pickups.

I am hoping to visit SP either for the 12th birthday or the 11th anniversary.

Which one would be better for a stout fan and someone that would like to purchase bottles to go?
